Tishk Barzanji is a visual artist with degrees in both Fine Arts and Physics. Barzanji’s work can be related the modernism movement, and surrealism. It is inspired both by his childhood in Kurdistan, and his move to London in 1997. The artist’s first few years in London, with its rich and vibrant culture, were an eye-opener that sparked his passion for architecture and art. His work explores space and colour as well as the deconstruction and breaking of boundaries. It offers an insight into our living spaces in this fast-moving world and the human interactions within these spaces.
