Miles Phillips received his Bachelor with honours in Fine Arts from The University of Victoria. Through his oil paintings, the artist transports the viewer to another world. Each of his works, while seemingly simple at first glance, contains an endless alternate space. The artist employs bright exciting hues to create a soft transcendental glow, inside of which mixtures of paint fuse harmoniously and seem to connect to something bigger than life.

With the atmospheric nature of his works Phillips aims to capture a sensation of the sublime. Within each painting, the artist creates an inviting energy as well as a careful balance of natural beauty. 

The artist lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
