Sergio Patricio is a time-based media artist, art curator, art researcher, cultural facilitator, art & design educator, performer, art director and stage designer. He has a degree in Fine arts and Stage design an MA - Master in Art & Science and a Doctor in Philosophy, art research and cultural studies from the University of Applied Arts Vienna.

Patricio researches and writes about time-based media arts. He explores new methods and combines models to understand the action, time, goal and time experience in performance, performing arts, multimedia installation, and transmedia arts, among other practices.

The artist has has held numerous lectures, workshops and conferences in Austria and Germany. From 2007 to 2014 he was also a professor at the Univ.Chile, Univ. Mayor, and UNIACC.
